Hey there, my name is Andrew and I am a coffee fanatic. I know it sounds like the beginning to a
10-step program but in reality it is the harmless truth. I mean there really is no harm in being
a coffee fanatic unless you consider spending an inordinate amount of time and money on the pursuit
of the finest cup of coffee harmful. Well maybe my wife…but that is another issue altogether.
I have been enjoying coffee ever since I was given my first taste by my big 'sis when I was twelve.
My love of 'Joe has grown ever since and has developed into quite an obsession, albeit a healthy one.
I love trying new coffees and different methods of brewing coffee. My garage is littered with coffee
making machinery that is either worn out or my famous line "I'm just putting it away to try something
new". You see I don't like to sell my old equipment, I always figure one day I might use one of them
again…either that or open up a small museum.
I have learned quite a bit over the years about coffee and have some pretty strong opinions about
brew methods, machines (grinders, roasters, makers, etc..) and coffee brands. A friend suggested
I create a blog to post this information as others may find it useful. It is a good thing I happen
to work out of my home on a computer all day long, otherwise I think my wife would divorce me.
